COMMUNITIES
Welcome to West Point!
If you are looking for urban experiences in the luxury of a rural setting, come to West Point! The community’s recreational amenities, coupled with the growth of new businesses and events like the Farmers Market and Christmas Family Festival, complement the multigenerational traditions of the Cuming County Fair, West Point car show, and 4th of July celebrations.
Recreational opportunities, such as walking trails, tennis and pickleball courts, sand volleyball courts, an inclusive playground, access to the Elkhorn River, and the new pool and aquatic center, provide a vibrant and active lifestyle for people of all ages and interests.
West Point is also home to two great venues, the Nielsen Community Center and West Point Community Theatre. The Nielsen Community Center serves the area as a multi-use venue for events like wedding receptions, family gatherings, conferences, live entertainment like dueling pianos and bands, pine derby races, art exhibits, and so much more. The West Point Community Theatre adds a cultural aspect through live productions, cinema, acting camps, and concerts.
West Point’s diverse range of offerings, from a strong agricultural base and a bustling business sector to educational opportunities and recreational facilities creates a well-rounded mix of services and activities for residents and visitors alike. Plan your visit to West Point today!
