About Beemer

Beemer is a charming community that was established in 1886. The village of Beemer is conveniently located adjacent to Highway 275, which is one of Nebraska’s main highways. It is located midway between Norfolk and Fremont so you have the benefit of small town living with the conveniences of larger municipalities nearby.

The Elkhorn River and Indian Trails Country Club, a Golf Digest 4 star 18 hole golf course, are located south of the Beemer city limits for recreational activities.

Beemer Community Club hosts several events throughout the year including: Bike Beemer, a charity golf tournament as well as many other events. In July they host the annual Beemer PlayDaze, which is a weekend of fun-filled activities for the entire family!

Beemer’s youth have the option to enroll at either the Wisner-Pilger or West Point Public Schools. There are 2 parochial schools located in West Point as well.
