COMMUNITIES
Welcome to Beemer!
Beemer is a charming community that was established in 1886 and has just a little over 600 residents. The Village of Beemer is conveniently located adjacent to Highway 275, which is one of Nebraska’s main highways. It is located midway between Norfolk and Fremont so you have the benefit of small town living with the conveniences of larger municipalities nearby.
Living in Beemer is a unique experience, the village is surrounded by rolling hills and open farmland making is a picturesque destination to explore the outdoors. Beemer has wonderful community spirit that drives many events during the year such as Beemer Play Daze the last weekend in July and the Beemer Community Dinner Theatre every February.
For a village with a population of 600, there is plenty of outdoor recreation. One can fish, canoe, kayak, tube, or air boat down the beautiful Elkhorn River. Closest ramp access is Wisner located at the River Park. The Village of Beemer also is home to the only golf course in Cuming County. Indian Trails County Club is an 18-hole golf course that is open to the public and has an unbelievable view of the Elkhorn River from the Clubhouse. Need something to do with the kids? Head over to the splash pad that is directly connected with the playground at the Beemer Park.
